This is the first of the 4 levels of ‘Samskrit for Specific Purpose – Yoga’.
Primary Level Communicative Samskrit is taught in simple Samskrit language using the terminology of Yogashastra.
Stories, anecdotes, plays, salient points are all used contextually in lessons.
Please watch videos for first 5 to 10 lessons repeatedly. You will start understanding Samskrit.
Write all exercises in a separate workbook and verify it with “Uttaradeepika” provided at the end.
You will also get videos on Spoken Samskrit.

Course Requirements:

Knowledge of Devnagari lipi is required. (If you do not know Devanagari lipi, please visit www.samskrittutorial.in & watch videos of Class 1 to 4).

Course Instructions :

1. Listen to first few videos repeatedly. You will grasp Samskrit better every time. After some time, you will be able to understand on the first go.
2. Once listening skills improve, repeat after each sentence. Speak loudly. Focus on the pronunciation of each letter.
3. By the end of this level, you will surely be a good listener & speaker.
4. Please set a specific time for 30-45 minutes preferably in the morning.
5. Watching every day continuously, gives excellent results.
6. Please attempt self-evaluation questions after every video to understand your grasp.
8. You can take test at the end.
